Day 1 General Meeting - U.C. Center, Sacramento

CSFC Members gathered to begin discussions about CSFC priorities, Legislative updates, and the directional vision for CSFC.

Guests on Day 1 included representatives from the Legislative Analyst's Office, who engaged in lively discussion with the CSFC membership.

Legislative Reception - Hosted at Mayahuel

CSFC honored SAB Assistant Executive Officer Bill Savidge with the County School Facilities Leadership Award at this year's Legislative Reception.

Incoming CSFC Chair Lindsay Currier gave a touching speech, thanking Immediate Past-Chair Jeff Becker for all his work with CSFC.

Day 2 at Elks Tower featured speakers from the State Allocation Board, Department of Education, and State Assembly

Members of the SAB/OPSC get ready to present the State Program Funding Panel.

Ian Padilla provided an update on LCFF and the Good Repair Standard, and Jema Estrella provided examples from the Los Angeles County Office of Education.

Scott Fieber, Kern County Supt. Of Schools presents at the Summit; Kathleen Moore (CDE), discusses updates from the Department of Education.

Assembly Member Joan Buchanan closed the Summit, providing her perspectives on the school bond effort and the future of a school facilities program.
